SYDNEY, November 20, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Trina Solarthe world’s leading provider of global photovoltaic and smart energy solutions, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Australian wholesale distributor of solar products. Solar Juice. Under the terms of the agreement, Solar Juice will purchase 1GW of Trina Solar Vertex modules over a three-year period, representing a significant proportion of residential and commercial solar capacity for the Australian market.
Trina Solar will make available to Solar Juice its complete range of Summit N modules for Australian residential and commercial projects.
The modules include:
- Summit S+ NEG9R.28 and NEG9RC.27; 450 W+ single-sided modules designed primarily for residential use
- Vertex NEG18R.28, a 500W+ not-i-TOPCon type double glass module, specially designed for commercial and industrial (C&I) and residential projects in Australia.
The two companies also agreed to continue to cooperate and combine their skills to maximize value for the benefit of residential and commercial customers and secure Solar Juice’s business and Trina Solar mutual benefit.
Trina Solar and Solar Juice are long-standing industry partners and have a strong working relationship. The 1 GW MoU further strengthens this partnership, providing a significant quantity of modules to meet the solar demand of Australia growing residential and commercial sector.
