    LAS VEGAS, January 13, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — TCL CSOT, a renowned industry player developing advanced and innovative display technologies, recently showcased its wide range of products covering automobiles, laptops, tablets, smartphones, TVs, reality virtual and much more at CES 2024. Among its showcased offerings, the company’s cutting-edge OLED and MLED technologies, including its Inkjet Printing OLED (IJP OLED) and Fine Metal Mask-OLED (FMM-OLED) display technologies, attracted the attention of the public.

    Industrial Breakthroughs in IJP OLED Technology

    Over the years, TCL CSOT has actively paved the way for the adoption of inkjet printing technology to manufacture OLED displays. This IJP OLED technology brings benefits including wider color gamut, higher resolution, greater material usage efficiency, lower power consumption and lower operating costs. TCL CSOT currently focuses on medium and large inkjet printing OLED products, such as TVs, and aims to accelerate industrialization by also including medium-sized displays, such as laptops and the vehicles. In addition to focusing on medium and large-sized products, TCL CSOT aims to achieve mass production of small-scale IJP OLEDs, especially in the medical and IT fields, in 2024.

    At CES 2024, TCL CSOT presented the first 14 in the world” 2.8K Hybrid Inkjet Printing OLED Display, the first application of IJP OLED technology in laptops by TCL CSOT and a technological breakthrough of 240 PPI in mass production. The display uses a new type of oxide compensation circuit technology to make IGZO inkjet printed OLED possible in various consumer products, while its 30-120 Hz VRR technology provides adaptive optimization of the power that extends battery life. Equipped with high PPI inkjet printing technology, it features exquisite image quality and unparalleled visual experience with 2.8K high resolution. Additionally, its slim and portable design, enhanced by Hybrid OLED technology, improves convenience for mobile users.

    Advances in FMM-OLED technology

    Taking advantage of the advantages of FMM-OLED technology, including high resolution, high contrast, high brightness and wide color gamut, TCL CSOT has focused on applying this technology to small and medium-sized products. , as well as portable products. At the same time, they are actively developing full-screen technologies such as under-screen cameras and flexible folding technologies. At CES 2024, TCL CSOT introduced two innovative FMM-OLED displays, demonstrating its R&D strengths in OLED technology.

    THE 6.36 inch LTPO frequency division display OLED screen, using TCL CSOT’s leading frequency division technology and self-developed frequency sweep circuits, supports two-way and three-way frequency division without any limitation on the crossover frequency. Equipped with an ultra-low power consumption integrated circuit, it offers 15-20% higher energy savings than standard products. Additionally, the product features a DCI-PC coverage ratio of 99% color gamut and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, providing a more natural image. With a response time of less than 1ms and a resolution of 1200 x 2670, it provides an optimal viewing experience characterized by excellent image quality and clear details.

    The 14-inch Ultra Tandem AMOLED screen integrates advanced OLED EL Tandem flexible device technology with several cutting-edge features, such as ultra-narrow thin bezels and high refresh rates. It comprises 4K high resolution, a high screen-to-body ratio of 96% and a refresh rate of 120Hz, providing users with excellent image quality. Thanks to Tandem technology developed by TCL CSOT, the screen offers a maximum brightness above 2,500 nits and the ability to adapt to various indoor and outdoor lighting environments. Compared to other OLED displays, its power consumption has been reduced by more than 30%, improving standby time. Additionally, the lifespan of this OLED display has been increased by 3.5 times, providing customers with exceptional screen durability.
