Condé Nast Traveler revealed the Readers’ Choice Awards 2023 last week and, for the second year in a row, Phu Quoc has secured a place among the “best islands”.

In the Asian islands category, Phu Quoc won 8th place, surpassing the Japanese islands of Okinawa and the Philippines’ Ryuku and Siargao. The rankings were determined based on reviews from worldwide readers and travel experts.
Phu Quoc’s appeal lies in its pristine beaches, mild climate, and numerous accommodation options ranging from budget-friendly to luxurious. Additionally, the island offers a diverse range of experiences, including modern theme parks and safari experiences.
In 2015, Condé Nast Traveler readers praised Sao Beach in Phu Quoc, placing it among the top 10 most beautiful, quiet island beaches in the world, alongside Fiji and the Maldives. Sao Beach, located about 25 kilometers from downtown Phu Quoc, has 7 kilometers of pristine white sand along the southern edge of the island.
Recently, travel experts from the South China Morning Post, a Hong Kong newspaper, named the Sailing Club in Phu Quoc as one of the 10 most luxurious bars in Southeast Asia, cementing the reputation of excellence of the island.

Travelers looking for authentic local encounters can explore pepper and pearl farms, Phu Quoc National Park, or the fishing village of Ham Ninh.
Phu Quoc’s culinary scene is also a highlight, with dishes like fried bunor fried noodles and fish sauce.
The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards have a 26-year history and provide highly respected recognition in the global travel industry.
