The SJC gold price fell 0.14 percent to VND68.88 million ($2,830.49) per tael on Monday morning.
The price of the gold ring fell 0.09% to VND56.9 million per tael. One tael is equal to 37.5 grams or 1.2 ounces.

The dollar held near a 10-month high, while Treasury yields were off their 16-year high.
