The Platinum rating is only awarded to the top 1% of companies out of more than 100,000 companies evaluated by EcoVadis.
The EcoVadis Sustainability Rating evaluates company policies and initiatives in four categories: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable purchasing. 100,000+ companies across 200+ industries and 175+ countries participated in its evaluations. Many global companies use this assessment as a prerequisite for selecting their suppliers.
FUJIFILM Business Innovation excelled in the Environment and Sustainable Procurement category and this recognition highlighted the company’s continued efforts to create a better environment for all. It has developed technologies to reduce the energy consumption of multifunction printers and single function printers to contribute to a decarbonized society with better energy saving performance, including the development of Super EA-Eco toner .*1 with low temperature melting performance.
To help establish a circular economy, FUJIFILM Business Innovation actively reuses parts that have passed the company’s performance and safety assessments, based on the concept that “used products are valuable resources and not garbage “.
