Partnerships help benchmark TNCC and ENPC courses reach more international ED nurses
SCHAUMBOURG, ill., December 21, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — After a year dedicated to expanding its international connections, the Emergency Nurses Association is poised to reach more emergency nurses globally with key training in trauma, pediatrics and triage in 2024.

ENA enters the new year with partnerships that mean the continued delivery of its Trauma Nursing Foundation Course to emergency nurses in Bermuda, South Africa And Australiawhile bringing the TNCC and Pediatric Emergency Nursing course to Sweden. In addition, it is planned that the TNCC will be taught in Germany, Spain, Poland, Argentina and the United Arab Emirates.
The TNCC and ENPC, respectively, are considered the gold standard courses in trauma and pediatrics for all emergency nurses. The courses have reached over a million learners in total since their inception – TNCC in 1986, ENPC in 1993. TNCC has been taught in 13 countries in 2023.
Translations of the TNCC will also be released in Polish, German and Castilian Spanish early next year, with more languages added throughout 2024.

In addition to the TNCC and ENPC, ENA is expanding its international commitment with the release in early 2024 of the Emergency Severity Index course in Polish, German and Spanish – and the ESI Pediatric course also in Spanish.
ESI triage courses provide nurses with the methods and best practices necessary to correctly apply and use the ESI algorithm to better identify patient acuity and flow of care in the emergency department.
