Hong Kong people rather than wealth, thereby debunking the preconceived notion that “money is everything”. The city’s low birth rate, which has attracted government attention, may reflect many people’s feelings of pressure or worry about the challenges of starting a family. That said, our findings offer a contrasting view that parent-child bonds bring greater happiness and a more well-planned life. We are witnessing a paradigm shift here. Hong Kong people’s perception of how to live a healthy and joyful life from their well-known “practical” attitude.
